Day 1: Tuesday, September 1
This morning, we hit the road toward Branson, Missouri, making necessary stops along the way. Early afternoon, we check into our Branson hotel, Hilton Convention Center. Dinner tonight is at The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks, some of the best dining in Branson. They offer a unique farm-to-table dining experience unlike any other, completely prepared and served by students of “Hard Work U.” Then, tonight at the fabulous Sight and Sound Theatre, we experience the state-of- the-art theatrical production, David. From still waters to shadowed valleys, David’s ascent to the throne is filled with towering giants, wild animals, and Philistine soldiers. Come alongside this young shepherd on his journey to become a man after God’s own heart. With original music inspired by the Psalms, witness one of the most legendary Bible stories as it comes to life with spectacular special effects, massive sets and live animals in this original stage production. Day 2: Wednesday, September 2
After breakfast, we have some land and water fun. On a Branson Duck amphibious vehicle, we journey by land through the streets of Branson, singing songs, hearing jokes and tall tales, and learning local history. Then, without leaving our seats, we’ll splash on to Lake Taneycomo, where we’ll see downtown Branson from the water. We return home this afternoon with good memories of our time in the Ozark town of Branson. (B)
