projectors and 3D animation transform the exterior of French Lick Springs Hotel into vibrant holiday scenes. Holiday sounds fill the air as the building seems to magically come to life in each eight-minute show.
Day 1: Monday, December 7
Travel to French Lick, Indiana, with lunch included at the one-of-a-kind German Schnitzelbank
restaurant. This is “a little bit of Germany right here in Southern Indiana,” offering authentic schnitzels, wursts, sauerbraten and more. This afternoon, we check into the beautiful 5-Star Historical West Baden Springs Hotel. There is free time to explore West Baden Springs Hotel as well as historical French Lick Hotel, one mile away, aboard the free trolley that runs between these two hotels. Explore the interesting options at the hotel for dinner on your own. (L)
Day 2: Tuesday, December 8
Following a delicious breakfast, you are free to take the historical tours of both hotels. The history of these hotels is absolutely amazing! You might want to do some Christmas shopping at both hotels at their unique shops, including French Lick Casino, perhaps relax in the spa or just people watch today. Dinner tonight is included at the West Baden Springs Hotel. (B, D)
Day 3: Wednesday, December 9
Enjoy a little more relaxation in the hotel this morning, before we depart for lunch at Schwartz family restaurant. Schwartz is delicious “Amish- style” food with everything made from scratch, like breads, cakes, pies, meatloaf, fried chicken and BBQ. We will depart for home with wonderful memories of a glamorous, historically beautiful time in our area’s history. (B, L)
