Christmas Market, Hot Browns, And Lights Under Louisville

Come along this holiday season in a celebration of Christmas in Louisville,
Kentucky. First, we dine at the famous Brown hotel, the originators of the Hot
Brown sandwich. In the 1920s, the hotel drew over 1,200 guests every night for its
dinner dance. By the wee hours of the morning, guests were ready for a bite to eat.
Chef Fred Schmidt’s creation: an open-faced turkey sandwich with bacon and a delicate Mornay sauce.
The Hot Brown was born!

Next, we delight in the holiday season at Paristown’s annual Fête De Noël (“Festival of Christmas”), a winter wonderland featuring Louisville’s only authentic outdoor ice skating rink, the Brent Street Holiday Market, trackless train rides and so much more.

Then, we see a truly one-of-a-kind Christmas lights display at Lights Under Louisville. This is a magical drive-through holiday light show, underground! In Louisville’s Mega Cavern, over seven million points of light illuminate the vast
