Day 1: Tuesday, June 15, 2027
Today we travel to Saint Louis by motorcoach and fly to Seattle, Washington, “The Emerald City.” We will arrive in the evening to Hyatt Regency Lake Washington, our hotel for two nights.
Day 2: Wednesday, June 16, 2027
After a delicious made-to-order breakfast, choose between ascending the iconic Space Needle for spectacular views of the city or exploring the breathtaking Chihuly Garden and Glass, showcasing the incredible work of renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. Next, we’ll visit Pike Place Market, where you’ll have time to explore and enjoy lunch on your own. Next, this afternoon, we’ll board a Seattle Locks Cruise, where we’ll experience a fascinating boat elevator as we transition between the saltwater of Puget Sound and the freshwater lakes. Dinner is included this evening. (B, D)
Day 3: Thursday, June 17, 2027
Following breakfast, we depart Seattle for the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. Our first stop is magnificent Multnomah Falls before continuing into the Hood River Fruit Loop at the base of Mt. Hood. We’ll visit several local favorites, including Packer Orchard, Draper Girls Cider Company, and Hood River Lavender Farm, with time for lunch on your own along the way. After dinner, we continue to Lake Oswego for the evening. (B, D)
Day 4: Friday, June 18, 2027
Today we travel Oregon’s spectacular coastline. We’ll make a photo stop at Yaquina Head Lighthouse before reaching Newport, where you’ll have time for lunch on your own—perhaps enjoying a famous bowl of chowder at Mo’s. Continuing south, we’ll stop at Cook’s Chasm to witness Thor’s Well and the Spouting Horn before experiencing an exciting Giant Dune Buggy Tour across the Oregon Dunes. This evening, we arrive at Ko-Kwel Casino Hotel in Coos Bay, where dinner is included. (B, D)
Day 5: Saturday, June 19, 2027
Today we continue south along the scenic coast toward California. In Gold Beach, we’ll board Jerry’s Rogue Jets for an exhilarating ride along the historic Rogue River mail route while watching for wildlife and learning about the area’s fascinating history. After an included lunch, we arrive in Eureka and check into our hotel. This evening, enjoy dinner on your own, with complimentary limousine service available to local restaurants. (B, L)
Day 6: Sunday, June 20, 2027
Our journey continues along famous Highway 1 through towering coastal redwoods. We’ll drive the unforgettable Avenue of the Giants and stop at Founders Grove, where you’ll have time to walk beneath some of the tallest and oldest trees on earth. After a stop at Humboldt Redwoods State Park Visitor Center and a picnic lunch, we continue through Northern California to charming Napa. Tonight, enjoy free time to explore the restaurants and shops along the downtown riverfront. (B, L)
Day 7: Monday, June 21, 2027
This morning, pastries from Napa’s famous Sweetie Pies Bakery are delivered to our rooms before we board the elegant Napa Valley Wine Train. We’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch as we travel through beautiful wine country aboard one of America’s few remaining historic passenger railroads. This afternoon, we journey toward Yosemite National Park for a two-night stay. Dinner is on your own en route. (B, L)
Day 8: Tuesday, June 22, 2027
Today we’ll spend the day exploring magnificent Yosemite National Park. In a private tram tour, we’ll marvel at iconic sights including Half Dome, El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, and Yosemite Valley while learning about the park’s incredible natural history. Following time for lunch on your own, we’ll continue our exploration before returning to our hotel for a delicious California BBQ dinner. (B, D)
Day 9: Wednesday, June 23, 2027
Leaving the beauty of Yosemite behind, we travel to vibrant San Francisco. Our city tour showcases many of the city’s famous landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge. We’ll then check into Hotel Zephyr on Fisherman’s Wharf before gathering this evening for our farewell dinner at Fog Harbor, featuring outstanding cuisine and beautiful views of San Francisco Bay. Day 10: Thursday, June 24, 2027
As our tour takes us home today, we bring with us wonderful memories of our Pacific Northwest adventure and the new friends we have made. (B)
