Overnight Flight

We travel to the airport for our overnight flight to Zurich, Switzerland.

Day 2: Tuesday, July 6, 2027

Arrive in Zurich & Travel to Lucerne

Upon arrival in Zurich, Switzerland, we’ll meet our local guide and begin our Swiss adventure. Enjoy a panoramic introduction to Zurich as we take in the city’s elegant architecture, historic landmarks, and beautiful lakeside scenery. Later, we’ll continue to the Lucerne region, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque destinations. This evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner and get acquainted with our traveling companions. Our hotel for the next two nights is the Radisson Blu Hotel Lucerne, a modern lakefront hotel near Lucerne’s charming Old Town and waterfront. (D)

Day 3: Wednesday, July 7, 2027

Lucerne

Today we’ll discover the enchanting city of Lucerne on a guided walking tour. As we stroll through charming Old Town Lucerne, we’ll admire historic buildings, cobblestone streets, and famous landmarks. Next, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat cruise on beautiful Lake Lucerne, surrounded by the spectacular Swiss Alps. The remainder of the afternoon is ours to explore at leisure. Tonight, we’ll enjoy a traditional Swiss dinner accompanied by local entertainment, music, and regional specialties. (B, D)

Day 4: Thursday, July 8, 2027

Grindelwald, Interlaken & Montreux

This morning we travel into the heart of the Swiss Alps to the mountain village of Grindelwald. Here we’ll experience breathtaking alpine scenery and visit the thrilling cliff walk at Jungfrau, where spectacular panoramic views await. Continuing to Interlaken, we’ll learn about Switzerland’s alpine traditions, including the famous alphorn and mountain culture. Later, we’ll journey to the elegant resort town of Montreux, beautifully situated along the shores of Lake Geneva. Our home for the next three nights is the Modern Times Hotel Montreux, providing a relaxing home base as we explore the surrounding area. (B, D)

Day 5: Friday, July 9, 2027

Montreux & Lavaux Vineyards

Today we’ll explore the charming lakeside town of Montreux on a guided tour. We’ll stroll along the flower-lined promenade, admire Belle Époque architecture, and enjoy the beauty of Lake Geneva. This afternoon we’ll ride the Lavaux Express through the stunning terraced vineyards of the Lavaux region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll also enjoy a tasting of local Swiss wines while taking in magnificent vineyard views. (B, D)

Day 6: Saturday, July 10, 2027

Matterhorn & Zermatt

Today we experience one of Switzerland’s most iconic sights—the magnificent Matterhorn. We’ll travel by rail and cable car to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, Europe’s highest mountain station, where extraordinary alpine vistas await. Later, we’ll enjoy free time in the charming mountain village of Zermatt, famous for its car-free streets, traditional chalets, and stunning scenery. (B, D)

Day 7: Sunday, July 11, 2027

GoldenPass Train, Cheese & Chocolate

A true Swiss highlight awaits today as we board the famous GoldenPass panoramic train. Relax and enjoy spectacular views of lakes, valleys, and mountains from the comfort of our first-class rail journey. We’ll visit La Maison du Gruyère to learn about Switzerland’s renowned cheese-making traditions and enjoy a tasting. Then we continue to Maison Cailler for a delicious chocolate experience and tasting. Later, we’ll enjoy free time in the beautiful city of Bern before gathering for dinner. We overnight at Vienna House Zur Bleiche, offering a comfortable place to recharge. (B, D)

Day 8: Monday, July 12, 2027

Rhine Falls & St. Gallen

This morning we’ll visit the mighty Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe. The power and beauty of these cascading waters create an unforgettable experience. After free time and lunch in Schaffhausen, we continue to historic St. Gallen. This evening, guests may choose to attend an organ concert at the magnificent Cathedral of St. Gallen. Tonight, we stay at the elegant Hotel Einstein, conveniently located near the heart of historic St. Gallen. (B, D)

Day 9: Tuesday, July 13, 2027

St. Gallen & Davos

Today we’ll explore the historic Old Town of St. Gallen and visit the world-famous Abbey Library, one of the most beautiful libraries in Europe. As we travel toward Davos, we’ll stop at a traditional Swiss farm and enjoy tastings of regional products such as cheese, honey, milk, and fruit. Our journey continues through some of Switzerland’s most scenic countryside before arriving in the alpine resort town of Davos. Our stay this evening is the Mountain Plaza Hotel, where we can enjoy the beautiful scenery and alpine atmosphere of the Swiss Alps. (B, D)

Day 10: Wednesday, July 14, 2027

Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride & Lucerne

Step back in time today as we enjoy a delightful horse-drawn carriage excursion through the beautiful Dischma Valley. Surrounded by stunning alpine scenery, this relaxing experience offers wonderful photo opportunities. Later, we’ll travel back toward Lucerne, with another stop at a traditional Swiss farm to experience local hospitality and regional flavors. This evening, we’ll gather for a special farewell dinner as we celebrate our Swiss adventure together. We return to the Radisson Blu Hotel Lucerne for our final night in Switzerland. (B, D)

Day 11: Thursday, July 15, 2027

Our unforgettable Swiss adventure comes to an end today as we transfer to Zurich Airport for our flight home, taking with us wonderful memories of majestic mountains, scenic rail journeys, charming villages, and the beauty of Switzerland. (B)
