Day 1: Wednesday, March 31, 2027
We travel to Louisville, Kentucky, where we arrive at Stoneware & Co., a business that is over 200 years old. At Stoneware & Co., have lunch on your own, and then check out all the stoneware in the gift shop. Driving a short distance, we arrive at Louisville’s Waterfront Botanical Gardens, where we have a guided tour and learn about its very interesting origin. This afternoon, we check into Drury Plaza Florence, Kentucky, where a Kickback Dinner is included. (D)
Day 2: Thursday, April 1, 2027
After breakfast this morning, we drive from our hotel to the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky. The state-of-the-art Creation Museum allows you to venture through biblical history, stunning exhibits, botanical gardens, planetarium, zoo and much more. This 75,000-square-foot facility has welcomed millions of guests. Have lunch on your own at the museum’s dining options. During our visit, we will see the fascinating Planetarium presentation. For dinner tonight, we journey aboard Cincinnati’s Official Riverboat Cruise Line since 1979, the Belle of Cincinnati, featuring delicious food, music, and stunning landscape views along the Ohio River. Day 3: Friday, April 2, 2027
Today, we travel to Williamstown, Kentucky to experience the Ark Encounter. Ark Encounter features a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old. This massive structure and incredible workmanship of the hull is only the beginning of the encounter with the Ark. The commitment to historical accuracy and artistic excellence continues inside on three decks full of beautifully crafted teaching exhibits Creation Museum that will inspire you as you take a self-guided tour at your own pace. Lunch is included right next to the Ark: the two- story, themed Emzara’s Buffet is an award-winning restaurant with a variety of delicious entrées, salads and desserts. After lunch, we return home.
