Comedy and music legend Ray Stevens has spanned multi-generations with 60 years of fabulous music, including his Grammy® Award-winning classics “Everything Is Beautiful” and bluegrass masterpiece “Misty”, as well as comedic hits like the multi-million selling records “The Streak” and “Gitarzan”. In 2015, Ray began producing and hosting “Ray Stevens Nashville”, a variety show on cable TV. Since then, the show has been rebranded as “Ray Stevens CabaRay Nashville” and is now filmed on stage at the brand new CabaRay Showroom, which opened to the public in early 2018. Day 1
After pickups in Southern Illinois and Paducah, we travel to Nashville and arrive at Opry Mills for lunch on your own and shopping. We check in to the hotel and freshen up before leaving for the Ray Stevens CabaRay Show. VIP seating with dinner. (D)
Day 2
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel this morning, we tour the Country Music Hall of Fame, and then see a concert by John Carter Cash, a renowned singer, songwriter and producer know for his contributions to country music and the only son of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Following lunch at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Restaurant, we get a privately guided Soul of Music City Trolley Tour. From the city’s rhythm & blues heritage and honky tonks, to its famous music venues, uncover insider stories and intriguing facts about the people, places, and events responsible for the city’s iconic reputation. We travel home late this afternoon.
