Day 1
We travel to Nashville, arriving at the Gaylord Opryland Resort Hotel at check in time. The Gaylord Opryland Resort Hotel, situated in the heart of Nashville, welcomes guests to a stunning, one-of-a-kind resort experience. Guests can explore nine acres of airy, indoor garden atriums, a wide selection of award-winning restaurants and bars, the world-class Relâche Spa, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. A Christmas Fountain Show, a breathtaking synchronization of light, water, and holiday music, takes place every evening at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Take a boat ride down the indoor river on an included Delta Flatboat Cruise. Then, we see the fantastic evening performance of Amy Grant and Vince Gill: Christmas at the Ryman Show at 7:00 p.m. This revered Music City couple sings cherished songs of the Christmas season as well as newer music.
Day 2
Breakfast is included this morning and then you can enjoy the resort until we go the very short distance to Opry Mills Mall. Here, we will enjoy some shopping time and lunch on your own. Opry Mills is Tennessee’s largest outlet, value retail, shopping, dining and entertainment destination, with over 200 stores. This afternoon, we depart to go downtown Nashville for browsing time before dinner at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Restaurant. We head home this afternoon. (B, D)
