After a delicious lunch at Josephine’s Tea Room, we explore the shops next door. The
gift shops are in the original houses that were once part of Monticello College,
founded in 1838. Josephine’s store and Monticello House feature unique home décor,
gifts, jewelry, women’s fashions, shoes, handbags and accessories.
Our next destination is 3 Charming Chicks, owned by three classy women, featuring the most
stylish items for your home at reasonable prices. The first weekend of the month is the
only time they are open, so we will explore all their finds—estate sale treasures,
cleaned up and made into something new and charming.
