Travel with us to Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch in Rantoul, Illinois. Our visit will start with
the Reindeer Experience Tour where we will get up close and personal with some
of the reindeer. You might even get a ‘kiss’. Weather permitting, we will go on a
tractor driven buggy ride on the farm while learning the history of the ranch. Next,
the Western Style Banquet Hall is a great setting for our chuckwagon lunch,
complete with tin plate and mug, bandana napkin and spoon.
We will sit down to fantastic Texas BBQ! After lunch, live entertainment will treat us to music, comedy
and a whole lot of fun! Be sure to visit the Country Barn Gift Shop full of gifts and treats. Then, we depart the ranch, but we have another delightful stop to make—Flesor’s Candy Kitchen in Tuscola, Illinois. Third and fourth generations are operating this confectionary that offers hand dipped candy and hand-mixed drinks from their original soda fountain. Filled with original antique furnishings, a visit to Flesor’s feels like taking a step back in time.
