Day 1: Tuesday, March 31
We travel to Bowling Green and arrive for an exclusive V.I.P. experience at the National Corvette Museum. As the museum is closing today, it opens it doors to welcome our group. We’ll experience the special ambiance of having the entire museum to ourselves, with a special guided tour, exploring the history and innovation behind America’s iconic sports car. Following our tour, we will have an elegant 4-course dinner with fine cuisine and live music. Later this evening, test your driving skills in a Corvette Simulator competition! Tonight, we settle into our accommodations at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. (D)
Day 2: Wednesday, April 1
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we set out for a day of adventure. Our first stop is Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo, where we interact with kangaroos, explore a cave, and learn about Australian and native wildlife. Just a short drive away, we delve deeper underground in Hidden River Cave in Horse Cave, Kentucky, taking in the fascinating geological features and rich local history. In the afternoon, we treat ourselves to a sweet finale at Chaney’s Dairy Barn. We tour the farm, see robotic milking in action, and, of course, indulge in some of the best homemade ice cream in Kentucky. Chaney’s uses milk from their own Jersey cows, processed right there on the farm. With our sweet tooth satisfied, we depart for home. (B, L)
