Supernova Restaurant and Bar creates unforgettable dining.  The Terrace, the perfect place for a drink in the evening, includes breathtaking Times Squares views. You will enjoy free WiFi, workspace, LCD TV, iPad® dock, high-tech fitness center and lobby video games.

We will then be met by our New York City guide and begin our visit with a delicious dinner.  After dinner, we will drive by a combination of Christmas movie locations, Christmas store windows and lights on display.

The first Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center was erected in 1931, during the  construction of Rockefeller Center, when workers decorated a smaller 20 foot balsam fir with strings of cranberries, garlands of paper, and even a few tin cans. The lighting of the 50-foot-tall first official tree was two years later and the tree became what Rockefeller Center dubbed “a holiday beacon for New Yorkers and visitors alike”. A skating rink was opened below the tree in the plaza in 1936. Since then, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree has been a yearly tradition.  According to Rockefeller Center’s website, the tree was “from the beginning … a gathering place and reflection of what was happening in the world around it”.    (D)

Day 2, 12/3:
Enjoy a delicious breakfast this morning before meeting our NYC guide to transfer to the NATIONAL 9/11 MEMORIAL AND 9/11 MemorialMUSEUM.  Through commemoration, exhibitions and educational programs, the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum remembers and honors the 2,983 people killed in the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001, and February 26, 1993, as well as those who risked their lives to save others and all who demonstrated extraordinary compassion in the aftermath of the attacks.

This afternoon let’s visit Bryant Park Village Christmas Market or you can hop a cab and do your own Christmas shopping!

This evening, dinner is included before you have the choice of attending The Nutcracker® at the New York City Ballet OR Diana,The MusicalDiana is the electrifying new musical about a woman who chose to be fearless, and as a result, became timeless. When Lady Diana Spencer married Prince Charles, she instantly became a cultural phenomenon. Leading fiercely with her heart, Princess Diana stood up for her family, her country and herself. She defied expectations, she rocked the royals, and she created a legacy that will endure forever.

The Nutcracker – NYCB’s landmark version of the Balanchine favorite, which The New York Times has called “the gold standard” Nutcracker, premiered on February 2, 1954 and helped to establish The Nutcracker and its score as perennial favorites in the United States. A signature event of the holiday season in New York City, with the exception of the 2020 season when performances were cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this treasured classic had been performed by NYCB every year since its premiere more than 65 years ago. From the moment the lights dim, you will be transported to a magical place filled with adorable children, marching toy soldiers, a glowing one-ton Christmas tree that seemingly grows forever, mischievous mice, crystalline waltzing snowflakes, the Land of Sweets and some of the most breathtaking costumes, sets and dancing on earth. Your choice; just let Jane know before final payment.  (B,D)
